Achieving Cultural Awareness in Health Care: Bridging the Language Gap

This conference aims to reduce health disparities by educating Siouxland students and professionals about the importance of providing evidence-based care with individuals, groups, and populations who come from culturally diverse backgrounds.

Nursing and Social Work Continuing Education Units (CEU) and Continuing Legal Education (CLE) hours will be supplied. The total contact hours and approved IBON Provider number will be supplied by the BCU Department of Nursing. Participants must attend the entire program to receive full credits. Physician hours will not be available at this conference. All other attendees will receive a certificate of completion for this conference. It is the responsibility of each attendee to determine if the continuing education program they attend meets the requirements of their professional licensure board.
