Bishop Mueller Library

In addition to a robust collection of traditional academic and entertaining books, the Bishop Mueller Library offers many services to students such as academic resources, computer labs, and research mentors. Students can contact the library by phone, email, and chat to receive one-on-one help from research mentors and librarians, who are experts at doing research. The Library also houses the IT Help Center and a computer lab.

 Academic Resources

The Bishop Mueller Library is made up of over 50,000 monographs, 250,000 premium eBooks, millions of journal articles, and so much more! In addition to checking these items out, you can also choose to scan the information you need and email it to yourself using the scanning machines.

Along with books and articles, the library also has a large selection of popular DVDs and Blu Rays you can check out for a movie night with friends. All these resources are available to all students at any time.

 Computer Labs

Located on the top floor, students have access to a computer lab. Up to 19 students can access the lab.

Printing resources and printing assistance from library staff are also available to students. Be sure to ask about poster printing while you’re there!

Digital Media Creation Studio

The studio is located on the first floor of the library. Everyone can use the studio to create videos or audio content using professional video and audio equipment. There is even a green screen!

New to creating videos? It’s easy to use the one-button option to record a video presentation. For those with more experience, there are advanced editing tools, such as Adobe Creative Suite and a sound mixer.

This project was made possible in part by the Institute of Museum and Library Services, Grant # APP-246104-OLS-20.
