Briar Cliff Nurse Practitioner Program Ranked Among the Best

Briar Cliff University was recently recognized as the 12th best Nurse Practitioner program, and ninth best Adult-gerontology Nurse practitioner online according to NPSchools.com. While the high demand for nurses remains, BCU has committed to providing students with the knowledge and experience needed to be successful in the health care world.

“Briar Cliff’s nursing faculty strive to prepare future healthcare providers with a cost- effective, cutting-edge education in both the didactic and clinical settings,” says Heather Stehr, Assistant Professor in the Nurse Practitioner program.

The Nurse Practitioner program is designed for nurses who are interested in serving as family nurse practitioners, adult/gerontology primary care nurses, or psychiatric mental health nurses. The program is 51-54 credit hours and courses are taught online. Students work in clinical preceptors to their convince.
