Briar Cliff University Student Government announces new board members

Briar Cliff University announces the new board for Briar Cliff Student Government (BCSG).  BCSG will appoint new president Kennedy Andersen for the 2022-2023 academic year.  Andersen is a nursing major and is actively involved in Catholic Daughters, Health and Science club, Lead Team, PALS, Honors society, and being a residential assistant.

“Being gifted the honor of Briar Cliff Student Government president is nothing short of incredible,” said Student Government President Kennedy Andersen.  “During my time at BCU, we have had great student body presidents who truly embodied what we stand for.” 

Andersen formerly served as the secretary last school year, looks to continue creating various activities to increase student involvement and add more volunteer opportunities to incorporate Briar Cliff’s Franciscan values.

The BCSG executive cabinet along with Andersen will consist of Vice President Payton Hilts, Treasurer Sami Wasmund, Secretary Jaice Johnsen, and Marketing Chair Kylee Lukes.

Briar Cliff Student Government is the voice of the student body. Their major function is to represent the line of communication between students, faculty, and administration.
