SIOUX CITY, Iowa – Briar Cliff is pleased to announce the hiring of three new faculty and staff members.
Jamie Kelley joins Briar Cliff as the Director of Choral Activities. He earned his Bachelor of Music Education at Wartburg College and holds his Master of Music from the University of Northern Iowa. Before coming to Briar Cliff, Kelley worked as Director of Choral Activities for Algona Community Schools and has served as an adjunct vocal professor at Iowa Central Community College and Waldorf University. He is also affiliated with the Iowa Choral Directors Association as Sounding Board Ad Manager.
Suzie Fischer is Briar Cliff’s new Director of Marketing and Business Development. Fischer earned her Bachelor of Art in Graphic Design and Advertising from Morningside College. Prior to coming to Briar Cliff, Fischer served as Marketing Communications Manager for UnityPoint Health – Sioux City. She has also worked as a marketing specialist at First National Bank and Northwest Bank.
Cortni Krusemark comes to Briar Cliff as the founding director of the developing Doctor of Occupational Therapy Program and assistant professor of the Doctor of Physical Therapy Program. Krusemark received her Bachelor of Science in Health Sciences from Wayne State College and holds her Doctorate in Occupational Therapy from Creighton University where she went on to teach and serve as chair for several committees. Along with teaching, Krusemark has also worked as an occupational therapist and Director of Rehabilitative Services at the Omaha/Winnebago Indian Health Services and is a registered lobbyist for the Nebraska Occupational Therapy Association.
