Rembold Elected NASW Board of Directors

Briar Cliff Social Work Program Director, Liz Rembold has recently been elected to the Board of Directors for the South Dakota chapter of the National Association of Social Workers (NASW).

Since coming to Briar Cliff in 2014, Rembold has been a pivotal member of the Briar Cliff community serving as associate professor of social work as well as faculty chair. 

Earlier this year, she was promoted to Assistant Vice President of Academic Affairs overseeing learning communities, first-year experience courses, professional development, online development, and TRIO student support services.

The NASW is the largest membership organization of professional social workers in the world, with more than 120,000 members. They work to enhance the professional growth and development of its members to create and maintain professional standards and to advance sound social policies.
