Freshmen Symposium Showcases First-Year Creativity and Growth

December 5, 2025

Briar Cliff University hosted the Fall 2025 Freshmen Symposium on Friday, December 5, featuring student poster presentations in the lower atrium of Heelan Hall. The event served as the culminating experience for CORE 105: Briar Cliff Experience, the university’s first-year Project-Based Learning course.

Throughout the day, attendees explored a variety of student-created projects, reflecting the skills, curiosity, and collaboration developed over the semester. Presentations were held at 10:00 AM and 2:00 PM, giving faculty, staff, and peers the opportunity to engage with students and celebrate their work.

Thank you to everyone who attended and supported our first-year Chargers. Their effort and creativity were on full display, and the campus community looks forward to all they will continue to accomplish in the years ahead.
