Briar Cliff Student Government Announces 2025 Board Members

(Sioux City, Iowa – September 4, 2025) Briar Cliff University’s student body government announced the new board for the 2025-2026 academic year. The Briar Cliff Student Government (BCSG) will appoint Ryann Coughlin as the new President. Coughlin is a senior studying Behavior Analysis and Psychology from Waukee, Iowa.

“I am honored and excited to have the opportunity to represent and advocate for the students at Briar Cliff University,” Coughlin said. “This year, our focus is continuing to build a more accessible campus, expanding opportunities for student involvement across all areas of campus life, and listening to the voices of our student body to strengthen the Briar Cliff experience for everyone.”

Kenadee Loew, a senior from Carroll, Iowa, will serve as the Vice President of the BCSG.

“I look forward to strengthening student representation at Briar Cliff while building a more connected and involved campus community,” Loew said. “We are excited for the opportunity to get more students involved in activities, build connections across campus, and make sure voices are heard across the student body.”

Junior Accounting and Business administration double major Kylie Hart will serve as the Secretary/Treasurer. Nursing senior Sydney Woods and Elementary and Special Education senior Avery Beller will serve as the Marketing Chairs.

The BCSG is the voice of the student body. Their major function is to represent the line of communication between students, faculty, and administration.
