The Social Work Department is proud to share this invitation with you on behalf of Lila Mae’s House Board of Directors honoring Sister Shirley Fineran.

An open house will be held on May 14, 2026, at the South Sioux City Marriott Riverfront from 4:30 PM to 7:30 PM. You are welcome to pop in to wish her well or stay for the special program beginning at 6:00 PM.

Sister Shirley is Faculty Emerita at Briar Cliff University and retired from the Social Work Department in 2019 after years of dedicated service and leadership. She will begin her new journey to Dubuque this summer.
