Briar Cliff University is seeking a part-time adjunct instructor for the on-campus Graphic Design program. Candidates should possess a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree and 5 years of professional experience. A relevant Master’s degree is preferred. Preference will be given to a candidate with experience in instruction. Individuals who are able to teach one or more of the following courses are encouraged to apply: History of Graphic Design, Advertising Design, and Website Production.
Briar Cliff University is seeking a part-time adjunct instructor for the BSW program in the online and campus social work program. Candidate must possess an MSW degree with at least three years post-graduate professional experience. Experience with on campus and/or online teaching is highly desirable. Preference will be given to a candidate with experience in teaching a variety of social work courses across the curriculum.
Serves as the first point of contact for students inquiring about financial aid, helping students apply for all types of aid and providing updates on the status of their applications.
The Director leads and manages the University’s student financial assistance programs in accordance with federal, state and institutional policies; administers a comprehensive financial assistance program that supports the recruitment and retention of qualified students; supervises staff and budgets, counsels students and parents, ensures compliance with federal and state procedures, and maintains records.
This individual needs to have experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Access programs with efficiency and accuracy in typing and data management. The individual needs to be organized, have strong time management skills, and be able to work independently. This individual needs to demonstrate appropriate and effective communication and be able to verify records and manage files. The ideal candidate would have a Bachelor’s degree.
