The TRIO Talent Search Administrative Assistant is an eleven-month, full-time employee who is responsible to the Project Director. Responsible for input, maintenance, and reporting of student and data files. Displays sensitivity to the characteristics and needs of disadvantaged youth. Willingness to help with campus or career visits when needed.
The Assistant Vice President for Institutional Effectiveness reports to the Vice President for Academic Affairs. This position is responsible for the development and implementation of a comprehensive plan of institutional research and evaluation to support decision-making, mission, and strategic university goals.
The Director leads and manages the University’s student financial assistance programs in accordance with federal, state and institutional policies; administers a comprehensive financial assistance program that supports the recruitment and retention of qualified students; supervises staff and budgets, counsels students and parents, ensures compliance with federal and state procedures, and maintains records.
The Executive Administrative Assistant is responsible for managing a broad range of administrative tasks and projects and prioritizing a calendar of meetings. The Executive Assistant provides proactive, responsive, and effective executive-level administrative support, and serves as a central resource for the coordination of administrative duties of the Vice President. Collaborates with faculty, and other administrative staff to develop protocols and processes for the effective management of the office of academic affairs.
Qualifications (degree, certifications, experiences, skills, etc.): This individual needs to have experience with Microsoft Word and Excel programs with efficiency with typing and data management with ability to learn how to independently operate two additional clinical education data management programs. The individual needs to be organized, have strong time management skills, and be able to independently work on clinical education contract and data management tasks while the Director of Clinical Education is offsite. This individual needs to demonstrate appropriate and effective communication and be able to verify records and mange files. The ideal candidate would have a Bachelor’s degree.
