Briar Cliff Homecoming Brew Tradition Returns With a New Take for 2026
September 3, 2026
A Briar Cliff Homecoming tradition is officially underway as the University once again partners with local breweries to create a Briar Cliff-themed beer for Homecoming.
This year’s brewing process kicked off with Jefferson Beer Supply, which is brewing the 2026 Homecoming beer in collaboration with Jackson Street Brewing. Representatives from both breweries joined Briar Cliff President Dr. Matthew Draud, Alumni Director Anthony Rossi, and Bolt to mark the start of the brewing process.
While the annual brew continues a Homecoming tradition, this year’s beer offers a fresh take on the tradition. The new brew will bring a different experience to this year’s Homecoming celebrations while continuing to connect Briar Cliff with the local brewing community.
Jefferson Beer Supply is handling the brewing of this year’s beer, while Jackson Street Brewing is assisting with supplies and will help distribute and sell the finished product throughout the community.
The beer will be available as part of this year’s Homecoming festivities. More details about the beer and where it can be found will be shared as Homecoming approaches.
“We’re grateful to continue this tradition and work with local businesses to create something that brings the Briar Cliff community together,” Dr. Draud said.
Homecoming 2026 will bring alumni, students, faculty, staff, and friends of Briar Cliff together for a week of events and activities celebrating the University and its community.
