Homecoming reconnects our past and present Charger community to celebrate Briar Cliff and its traditions. This year, Briar Cliff will combine Homecoming and Family Weekend by creating a variety of activities that promise fun for the whole family to enjoy. 

Throughout the week, our current students will have the chance to participate in many on-campus events for prizes. On Friday and Saturday, Briar Cliff University welcomes our alumni and the Siouxland community back on campus to enjoy a variety of social events. From tours, art exhibits, and mass to Charger volleyball and football games, we have taken all your favorite events and kept building more to experience. Our goal is to provide something for everyone, from alumni to your youngest sibling, to enjoy at all times throughout this exciting weekend on The Cliff.  

New This Year | Family Fair

Bring your littles and invite the whole family! Saturday morning the Heffernan Mall will be buzzin' with a free Family Fair event complete with cotton candy, build-a-bolt, chalk, and a blow-up obstacle course for all ages to enjoy. Learn More.

Returning This Year | Party in the Pit

Anything this fun is worth bringing back! Similar to a small-town street dance or a barn dance at a county fair, Party in the Pit is a free outdoor concert featuring a local cover band of musicians, food trucks, and beer tent. Learn More.

Attending Homecoming and Family Weekend

No RSVP

There is no need to RSVP in advance for Homecoming and Family Weekend events. We will be there to welcome whoever is able to attend! Please note, if there is complimentary food or beverages provided, it will be served on a first-come, first-served basis. We thank you in advance for your grace in understanding.

Overnight Accommodations

Everyone is welcome to use our Briar Cliff University Homecoming Room Block at The Warrior Hotel in downtown Sioux City to reserve their room for only $129 per night. Siblings and family members are welcome to stay with our current students while utilizing and adhering to our guest policy.
