Sister Arnold Walk 

Join us Monday, September 22 at 3:30 PM for The Sister Arnold Walk, part of our Homecoming Week celebration.

• Start Location: Bottom of the San Damiano Drive entrance.

• Line-up: Begins about 10–15 minutes before the 3:30 start.

• Route: Retrace the beloved path that Sister Mary Arnold Staudt walked daily — up and down “the Cliff” — rain or shine, for 31 years.

• Finish: McCoy/Arnold Center, named in her honor.

The walk commemorates Sister Mary Arnold Staudt who taught in the Department of Music and served as the University’s organist from 1979 to 2010 and her simple but powerful wisdom: “a healthy life is built by walking the Cliff every day.” This event honors her legacy of dedication, resilience, and community spirit — the perfect way to begin Homecoming Week!
