Briar Cliff professor to present at national accounting conference

Sioux City, IA – Ken Creech, an associate professor of accounting at Briar Cliff University, has been selected to present at a national accounting conference in June.

Creech will present his paper, “The 21st Century Scorecard - an Evolution of the Balanced Scorecard,” at the Annual Conference of the Institute of Management Accountants (IMA) in Indianapolis, Indiana. The IMA is the largest organization of professional management accountants in the United States with over 100,000 members. The organization is also one of the largest and most respected associations focused exclusively on advancing the management accounting profession.

Creech’s paper was originally published in the International Journal of Education and Social Science.

Creech teaches basic and intermediate accounting classes at Briar Cliff University. In addition to his most recent publication, he has also authored a paper entitled the “Managerial Accounting and the Small Business.”
