SIOUX CITY, Iowa — Briar Cliff University is pleased to announce Dr. Sue Klappa as a new faculty member on campus.
Dr. Klappa is now a professor of physical therapy at BCU. She holds her Ph.D. in education, curriculum and instruction from the University of Minnesota, and master’s degrees from St. Catherine (Minn.) University for physical therapy and the University of Minnesota for physical education. Dr. Klappa, who is fluent in Spanish, has a special interest in global and local public health, including five tours of service to Haiti. She has also led and facilitated many service learning and clinical experiences for student PTs and PTAs in the Dominican Republic, Venezuela, Honduras, Mexico and Haiti.
