SIOUX CITY, Iowa – Briar Cliff University will host a team running across the United States as part of the Ulman Foundation’s 4K for Cancer on Wednesday, July 10.
The group, known as Team Boston for their destination, is comprised of 28 college-aged adults who started their cross-country journey on June 16 with a departure from San Francisco. Team Boston will complete their 49-day run in Boston on August 3. Together, they will run over 4,000 miles, with each individual contributing over 300 miles in total.
The Ulman Foundation enables groups like Team Boston to undertake cycling or running journeys across the United States with the goal of offering hope, inspiration and support to the nearly 300 communities they encounter along the way and to raise money and awareness for cancer in young adults.
