Briar Cliff announces new board officers, appointments

Sioux City, IA - Briar Cliff University is pleased to announce new Board of Trustee officer and committee appointments.

Board officers include: Chair, Steve Freeman (’69), retired, ConnectiveRX; Vice Chair, Dr. Patrick Walsh, retired, Siouxland Urology Associates, PC; Secretary, Rachelle Karstens, Interim President, Briar Cliff University; and Treasurer, Ken Rueter, Vice President for Finance and Administration, Briar Cliff University.

In addition, the following members have been appointed to chair board committees: Audit Committee, Mark Schuett, American Natural Soy, Inc.; Academic Affairs, Student Development and Enrollment Committee, Nick Roth, BPI Technology, Inc.; Executive Committee, Steve Freeman, ConnectiveRX; Finance Committee, Ron Bond, retired, AC & R Specialists; Governance Committee, David Simmons (’80), business owner; and University Relations Committee, Barbara Newhouse (’80), Barb Newhouse and Associates, LLC.
