Sandra Mercado
Sandra Mercado de Lafuente earned a Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering from Franz Tamayo University, La Paz-Bolivia. She also earned a Master’s degree in Spanish from Bowling Green State University. She held instructor positions at Niagara Univeristy, D’Youville College, and Wayne State College. She has been a professor here at Briar Cliff University since 2017.
Wilfrido Suarez
Wilfrido Suárez, Ph.D. earned a B.A. in Business Administration from the University of Guadalajara, México. He also earned a diploma in Executive Skills from the Tec de Monterrey campus Guadalajara, México. When he moved to the US, he completed a Master's degree and Ph.D. in Modern Languages and Literatures-Spanish. As a Teaching Assistant, he taught courses in Spanish for Professional Careers at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. In addition, he has taught Spanish language, Hispanic literatures, cultures and civilization courses at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, University of South Dakota, South Dakota State University and Briar Cliff University.
