An Understanding of Life at the Cellular Level
This course is to help students understand the scientific method, structure and function of the cell, molecules of life, and genetics. In lab, students will conduct experiments, model biological processes, and use living and preserved organisms and tissue samples to apply their learning in a lab experience.
Life begins as a cell.
This course will cover:
- Cellular properties and function
- An introduction to metabolism
