Sand Volleyball Courts

Outdoor Recreational Courts in Siouxland

Sand Volleyball is a sport played by two teams separated by a net. The goal is to get the ball over the net and to land on the ground of the opposing team’s side. Teams are allowed to touch the ball three times and a player cannot touch the ball twice in a row. First team to 21 wins!

Our Sand Courts were founded by our student government in 2013 to be used for our students and the Siouxland public to compete in Beach Volleyball. Just bring your own volleyballs! They can be found down the hill from the McCoy Arnold Center.

Available to the Public

Our Sand Volleyball Courts are open to the public, as long as patrons stick to our standard campus rules for behavior (no drugs or alcohol). For other rules, see the Briar Cliff student handbook.
