Briar Cliff University will host its annual Prairie Fire Lecture Series at 7 p.m. on March 16th in the St. Francis Center.
This year’s presentation will be on STEMM (Siouxland Tanzania Educational Medical Ministries) followed by a moderated panel. STEMM is an inter-denominational Christian ministry founded in 1996. The organization was created to develop a relational bridge between Siouxland and Tanzania by addressing the priorities of spiritual growth, medical care and educational opportunities.
The panel includes co-founder Dana Meyer, social work professor Melanie Berte-Hickey, and Briar Cliff students Jessica Guzman, Aedan Hickey and Karina Manriquez.
