U.S. News & World Report ranks Briar Cliff among best colleges in the Midwest

Briar Cliff University has been ranked among America’s best regional colleges in the Midwest according to the U.S. News & World Report 2022 Best Colleges rankings list released today.

Briar Cliff improved by 5 points for Best Regional Colleges (Midwest) by moving to No. 29, compared to last year’s No. 34 ranking. Additionally, the university improved by 6 points for Social Mobility for regional colleges by moving to No. 25, compared to last year’s No. 31 ranking. The university also received recognition for its nursing program by the report.

The improvements of our rankings are a great example of our efforts here at Briar Cliff,” shares Dr. Rachelle Keck, President of Briar Cliff University. “We know these rankings are one way to summarize the experiences of those who pursue their education at The Cliff, and we are dedicated to continually evolving and improving this experience.”

U.S. News & World Report is a multimedia publisher of news, consumer advice, rankings, and analysis. Its annual “Best Colleges” study represents a comprehensive look at how schools stack up, based on a set of widely accepted indicators of excellence. The top performers on “Social Mobility” ranking measures the extent schools enrolled and graduated students who received federal Pell Grants.

The overall rankings help students and their families evaluate and compare data compiled from hundreds of accredited four-year colleges and universities.
