Briar Cliff University Holds Peaceful Demonstration

Briar Cliff students, faculty and staff held a peaceful demonstration to bring awareness to social injustice, oppression, and systemic obstacles persisting across the globe. They made their way up the hill amidst represented obstacles people around the world face.

Briar Cliff holds our Franciscan values to the highest standards as we highlight the following values each academic year: Reverencing Creation, Building a Caring Community, Connecting with Joyful Service, and Peacemaking. 2020-2021 year's value is, fittingly, Peacemaking. It is more critical than ever to educate and advocate for peace, bringing awareness to injustices we witness and experience.
