Instructor/Assistant/Associate Professor of Nursing

The Department of Nursing at Briar Cliff University invites applications for a full-time, tenure-track faculty position with a start date of August 2025. This will be a nine-month appointment during the academic year. The position includes teaching responsibilities, clinical supervision, and coordination with other faculty. The University offers CCNE-accredited BSN, MSN for family, adult gerontological primary care, and psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner, and DNP programs.

In a wide variety of situations, the candidate must demonstrate excellent communication and problem-solving skills. The position will primarily teach in the undergraduate, pre-licensure BSN program. Candidates for this position must have earned a master’s degree in nursing and be eligible for licensure in Iowa. Preference will be given to individuals with an earned doctorate. Primary responsibilities include teaching in the undergraduate program and working with students in simulated and clinical experiences. Successful candidates will demonstrate a commitment to high-quality education in a Catholic Franciscan University.
