Sioux City, IA – Nathan Probasco, history professor and honors program director from Briar Cliff University has been named one of Siouxland Magazine’s “11 Under 40.”
“I know many Siouxlanders doing great things in the local community and beyond, so it was a pleasant surprise and honor to be selected,” Probasco says. “I will continue to be active in Sioux City and promote volunteerism, which is integral to the mission of Briar Cliff University.”
For Siouxland’s future, Probasco wants to focus on educating and empowering those in poverty to become more financially secure. In order to do this, Probasco is on the Board of Directors for the Center for Siouxland.
The Center for Siouxland is a nonprofit agency providing prescription assistance, consumer credit counseling, income tax assistance, traditional housing for homeless and other services to those in need.
Siouxland Magazine annually publishes the “10 Under 40” list, with an extra exception this year.
