Sioux City, IA – The Briar Cliff Clinic is hosting its second annual 5K Run, Walk, or Roll on Saturday, April 27 at Adams Homestead and Nature Preserve in North Sioux City. Registration starts at 8 a.m. and the race begins at 9 a.m. The event will raise money to support the student-run pro bono clinic.
All ages are welcome to participate in the event, and participants can choose whether to run, walk or roll through the 5K or 1-mile course. The race will start and finish at Adams Homestead and Nature Preserve. Registration is $25 through March 20 and $30 through April 27, and children that are 15 years old or younger can register for free. A daycare area and additional activities will be provided by students in Briar Cliff’s doctoral physical therapy program and refreshments will be provided.
The Briar Cliff Clinic is a pro bono clinic that provides free physical therapy services to the uninsured or underinsured of the Siouxland area. The clinic is organized and run by the doctoral physical therapy students at Briar Cliff. For more information, visit www.briarcliff.edu/dpt-5k.
