President of Iowa Gaming Association to speak at Briar Cliff University

Sioux City, Iowa – Briar Cliff University will host Iowa Gaming Association (IGA) President and CEO Wes Ehrecke at 6:30 p.m. on October 23 in the Saint Francis Center on Briar Cliff’s campus. Ehrecke will speak on gaming as entertainment, Iowa’s interest in gaming and how revenue is expanding throughout the state. This event is free and open to the public.

The IGA is a nonprofit organization that was created in 1999 to support the state’s gaming industry. It serves as an advocate for commercial gaming in Iowa and shares timely and accurate information about gaming.

Ehrecke has been with the IGA since 2000 and currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Iowa State Parks Foundation, the Travel Federation of Iowa and the Iowa Association of Business and Industry Foundation. He has 40 years of experience in the association management profession.
