The lecture will take place at 7:30 p.m. in the Saint Francis Center, and at simulcast locations on campus. A reception will immediately follow.

Due to limited seating, those who wish to attend are asked to register in advance for admission to this free event (limit two tickets per reservation). In addition, live streaming video of Daniel Cardinal DiNardo's presentation will be available on this website, beginning at 7:30 p.m. on Oct. 9.

Cardinal DiNardo was the Bishop of the Diocese of Sioux City from 1997 to 2004. After being named the coadjutor Bishop of the Diocese of Galveston-Houston in 2004, he assumed the responsibilities of bishop of the diocese in 2006 and one year later was elevated to the College of Cardinals. Ordained to the priesthood in 1977, the Cardinal holds degrees from Catholic University of America, the Pontifical Gregorian University and the Patristic Institute Augustinianum.
