SIOUX CITY, Iowa – Waiting tables just got more lucrative for Briar Cliff University student-athletes, who helped raise over $16,500 at “Lunch with the Chargers,” a 40 percent increase from last year’s event. All proceeds will benefit BCU’s Annual Scholarship Fund.
“We are grateful to all who contributed to and participated in this annual fundraiser,” said Lorna Daugherty, activities, events and e-media coordinator for University Relations at Briar Cliff. “As always, we are thrilled with the outpouring of support for Briar Cliff.”
Presenting sponsors were FiberComm and Texas Roadhouse of Sioux City.
