Briar Cliff plans Friends and Family Weekend

Sioux City, Iowa — Briar Cliff University welcomes Siouxland families and friends of current students to join in the fun of Friends and Family Weekend, scheduled for October 27 through October 29 on the University’s campus.

On Friday, October 27, Briar Cliff’s “Haunted Tunnels,” a Halloween tradition at BCU, will take place from 6 pm to 9 pm with a special family friendly hour from 6 pm to 7 pm. BCU’s “Haunted Tunnels” will be open nightly from October 25 through October 31.

Siouxland Community Day will kick off a full day of free events on Saturday, October 28. From 11 am to 1 pm, Briar Cliff’s student organizations will offer a variety of fun activities on campus including face painting, pumpkin decorating, putt-putt golf and more. Families may also attend any of Briar Cliff’s sporting events for free on October 28 including:

  • Women's Soccer vs. Northwestern - 1 pm
  • Men's Soccer vs. Northwestern - 3:15 pm
  • Women's JV Volleyball vs. Concordia - 1:30 pm
  • Women's Volleyball vs. Concordia - 3 pm

On Sunday, October 29, families and friends are invited to a free fall choral concert featuring the Briar Cliff University Singers and Chamber Choir at 3 pm in the Chapel of Our Lady of Grace. No registration is required. For more information, visit briarcliff.edu.
