Assistant Professor of Psychology
Briar Cliff University of Iowa, an institution committed to higher education within a liberal arts and Catholic perspective, invites applications for a 9-month, tenure-track Assistant Professor of Psychology position beginning August, 2018.
Qualifications: The desired applicant will have expertise in Sports Psychology, and must be able to teach courses in Experimental Psychology, and Applied Statistics. Additional courses include Introduction to Psychology and course in their area of specialization. Candidates will have earned a Ph.D. by their start date. The successful candidates will also demonstrate a commitment to high-quality education in a Catholic and Franciscan University.
Responsibilities: The duties include a 24-hour teaching load, advising of psychology majors, and supervision of undergraduate research projects.
