Stroud is responsible for development, fundraising and marketing functions at her alma mater Briar Cliff University, where she has worked since 2012.
Stroud began her career with the Alzheimer’s Association Big Sioux Chapter, where she progressed from community outreach coordinator to president and CEO. She followed up this role with a career move to St. Luke’s Health Foundation where she served as director of development. Most recently, Stroud served as the director of development for Briar Cliff.
In her spare time, Stroud has served on numerous boards including Building Blocks Foster Parent Recognition, Siouxland Center for Active Generations, Leadership Siouxland and the Briar Cliff University Alumni Board. She also gives selflessly of her time to causes she is passionate about. For this reason, she has served as a volunteer for Dove Adoptions and Wings of a Dove. In recognition of Stroud’s personal and professional accomplishments, she was named to the Siouxland Magazine’s “Top 10 Under 40” list in 2013.
Stroud holds a bachelor’s degree in social work from Briar Cliff University. Her training also includes completion of the following certification courses: Leadership Siouxland, TOP Facilitation, Non-Profit Management Institute and Iowa Health System Leadership Institute.
