Dr. Grieve grew up in Des Moines and Sioux City, graduating from East High School. After finishing graduate school in 1997, she worked as a physical therapist at the University of Minnesota hospital before moving back to Sioux City to join the PT department at Mercy Medical Center. Dr. Grieve has provided physical therapy for adults of all ages in acute care, skilled care/long term care, acute rehab, home health care, hospice, and outpatient rehab.
In 2017, Dr. Grieve completed programs through Evidence in Motion and the International Spine and Pain Institute leading to certifications as a Therapeutic Pain Specialist and as a Certified Spinal Manual Therapist. After working for several years as adjunct faculty in the PT program at Briar Cliff, she joined the program as an assistant professor in 2020.
