Dr. Condon has taught nursing for over 25 years and has been a member of Briar Cliff University’s nursing faculty since 2003. Her areas of expertise are nursing research, nursing theory, and philosophy with her focus on understanding the lived experience of various phenomena.
Dr. Condon served on the editorial board of one of the top nursing journals, Nursing Science Quarterly for 5 years where she was responsible for the quarterly publication of the teaching-learning column in the journal. Currently she serves on the referee panel for Nursing Science Quarterly, as well as a frequent reviewer for The Journal of Nursing Scholarship.
Dr. Condon has published three qualitative research studies (Feeling Misunderstood, Trying Something New, and Feeling Overwhelmed), and a quantitative research study (Nurse’s knowledge of Battered Women). She has presented her research finding at both national and international nursing conferences. Additionally, Dr. Condon has published over 20 articles related to teaching-learning in nursing education.
Dr. Condon is a member of the National League of Nursing and Sigma Theta Tau.
