Jon Carey

Biography

Jon earned his Masters of Science in Exercise Science from the University of Nebraska – Omaha while working in the fitness industry as a personal trainer and owning his own small business. Following graduation, he had stints teaching in Exercise Science at the Nebraska Wesleyan University, Purdue University, the University of Nebraska-Kearney and most recently, serving two years at the University of South Dakota in nearby Vermillion, South Dakota. He currently holds his Strength and Conditioning Specialist certification (CSCS) from the National Strength and Conditioning Association and has held various Personal and Fitness Training certificates from the American Council on Exercise, International Sports Sciences Association, and the National Council on Strength and Fitness.
