The Clausen Art Gallery at Briar Cliff University is proud to present Swamp Thing, a collection of stunning acrylic paintings on Plexiglas by Laura Hallen. Drawing inspiration from the Orr Bog in northern Minnesota, Hallen’s work delves into the interplay between plants and water, showcasing the survival strategies of flora in response to environmental change. Through her art, Hallen offers a profound reflection on the fragility of ecosystems and the interconnectedness of all life.
