Champions of Character is an NAIA initiative that aims to change the culture of sports by incorporating the first two commandments, along with implementing the five core values of respect, integrity, responsibility, sportsmanship, and servant leadership. At Briar Cliff University, the Champions of Character is our annual all athletic program celebration and award ceremony. 

This year’s ceremony will be held on April 19 at the Country Celebrations. Doors will open at 6:00 PM and 7:00 PM ceremony starts.

Mingle with this year’s nominees, coaching staff, and key sponsors. The ceremony will include keynote speaker Kevin Negaard, student-athletes speakers, and awards recognizing in a number of categories, including Athlete of the Year, Scholar-Athlete of the Year, and Champion of Character. This is an opportunity to connect with students and coaches to learn about their athletic seasons and accomplishments. 

Due to spacing limitations this year's event is invite only, thank you in advance for your understanding. Dresscode is semi-formal including dress shirts, ties, and dresses as appropriate.
