Girls Basketball Camp

Briar Cliff University's Women's basketball is offering a two day camp focused on improving young athletes skills on the court.

Camp Description

The Briar Cliff Women’s Basketball team will be hosting summer day camps on Thursday, June 8^th and Friday, June 9^th. The day camp for girls entering grades 2-6 will be held on Thursday, June 8^th from 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM. The day camp for girls entering grades 7-12 will be held on Friday, June 9^th from 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM. Cost of the camp will be $45 dollar per camper.

Camp Director

Brian Ortmeier, head Women's basketball coach at Briar Cliff University will direct the Chargers’ 2023 Women's Basketball Camp. Coach Ortmeier is entering his 2nd season as head coach at Briar Cliff. Coach Ortmeier along with assistant coach Connor Sonius in their first season guided the Chargers to a 26-8 (17-5 GPAC) record, including a GPAC tournament championship and berth in the NAIA National Tournament. The Chargers made it to the round of 16. Five Chargers were named to the all-conference team while Konnor Sudmann was named second team All-American. Both coaches bring a wealth of camp experience to this Fundamentals Camp.

Campers must be covered by their family insurance policy. Briar Cliff University is not responsible for injuries.
