Cultural Responsivity Conference: Keeping Siouxland Healthy

"Cultural Responsivity: Keeping Siouxland Healthy" is a collaborative event that educates health care providers about the importance of providing culturally responsive and competent care to improve access to quality health care and reduce health disparities in our region.
The conference is designed for physicians, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, nurses, physical therapists, social workers and other professionals who provide health care or human services to diverse populations.
The 2019 keynote speaker will be Dr. Mark Grey from the College of Social and Behavioral Sciences at the University of Northern Iowa. He is a professor of anthropology and Director of the Iowa Center for Immigrant Leadership and Integration.
