The Spanish-International Club at Briar Cliff University works to increase the knowledge of the cultures, economies, histories, environment and contemporary affairs of Latin America and the World foster cooperation and understanding among students from all over the world.
Join the Multicultural Program and Spanish-International Club to celebrate Hispanic Heritage day this Oct. 30.
Events throughout the day include:
Day of the Dead Altar Contest | 12-1 p.m., Atrium in Heelan Hall
Day of the Dead Virtual Lecture Presentation | 2-3 p.m., Virtual (contact Willie Suarez for more information)
Viewing of the altars will be Oct. 26-30.
All students are welcome to create an altar for our contest, winner will receive $50, for more information on how to claim an altar table for submission into the contest please contact Jay Rhodes or Wilfrido (Willie) Suarez.
