Our Technology

The Siouxland Research Center uses state-of-the-art technology to assist with data collection, data entry, data extrapolation and reporting. Some of our tools include:

Computer Assistant Telephone Interviewing (CATI): Used for telephone surveys, CATI provides for the standardization of survey scripts and callback rules to improve response rates. CATI also allows for extremely rapid data entry, accurate data storage and minimal error probability. This allows the SSSRC to provide services at a reduced cost, while ensuring maximum accuracy.

Teleform: Teleform is a forms processing and document summary application service that is utilized for mail and face-to-face surveys. It allows us to collect, validate and store information using scannable forms, which decrease data entry time, errors and cost.

Inquisite: Inquisite is a program utilized to help program, administer and report on web-based survey research.
