Psi Chi Chapter
The Psi Chi Chapter at Briar Cliff University was established in July of 1987 by Rev./Dr. Robert Condon. Psi Chi is an international honor society whose purpose shall be to encourage, stimulate, and maintain excellence in scholarship of the individual members in all fields, particularly in psychology, and to advance the science of psychology. Membership into Psi Chi is by invitation only and the guidelines for inclusion have been set by the national office.
In order to qualify for Psi Chi membership, students must have at least a 3.0 GPA in psychology, be in the top 35 percent of their class in cumulative GPA (or minimum 3.0, whichever is higher), have declared a psychology major or minor, and have completed 9 hours of psychology classes.
