Graduate Assistant for Sports Information

Briar Cliff University is seeking qualified applicants for a Sports Information Graduate Assistant position. This position will be responsible for assisting the sports information director in writing pre and post-game press releases and feature stories for all 16 sports teams. Provide gameday coverage at home events, including inputting stats, live stream oversight, or photography. Along with updating the athletics website and creating content for the social media accounts.

Benefits:

This position includes tuition remission and fees, a stipend, and free housing.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree
• Prior athletic communications experience either as a student worker, intern, or graduate assistant

• Proficiency with Adobe products and both Windows and Mac operating systems
