Associate Director of Major Gifts & Corporate Partnerships

The Associate Director of Major Gifts & Corporate Partnerships is a part of a team whose primary responsibility is the identification, cultivation, and solicitation of individual and corporate partners. The position will develop fundraising strategies to secure major gifts from alumni, friends, and corporate partnership across the country.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's degree required
- Fundraising experience is preferred
- Ability to write simple correspondence and effectively present information in small groups or one-on-one
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
- Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form
- Some travel, evening and weekend work is required
PHYSICAL DEMANDS: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; and talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to walk. The employee is occasionally required to stand and reach with hands and arms.
The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
