C.H.O.I.C.E.S. stands for Choosing Healthy Options in College Enhances Self.

We educate and encourage students to make informed, responsible choices in their lives. C.H.O.I.C.E.S. is a charter member of the nationally known BACCHUS and GAMMA Peer Education Network that promotes peer education programs on healthier and safer life-style choices.

Every year, C.H.O.I.C.E.S. sponsors Briar Cliff's "Haunted Tunnels," an annual Halloween tradition during which we turn BCU's underground tunnels into subterranean haunts, a scary good time for people of all ages!

Other alcohol-free activities and programs include:

  • National Collegiate Alcohol Awareness Week
  • Great American Smoke Out
  • Stress relief programs
  • Sponsored massages
  • Game nights
  • "Mocktails"
  • St. Patty's Day Bingo
