Presidential Scholarship Application

Briar Cliff University is pleased to invite first-year students to apply for the Briar Cliff University Presidential Scholarship. This scholarship is awarded based on academic achievements and demonstrated leadership roles in school, church, and community. This competitive scholarship provides full tuition and is renewable annually with a 3.0 GPA (on a 4.0 scale) and continued leadership, which includes participation in the Presidential Leadership Program.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Complete an Application for Admission to the University and be accepted.

• Submit the tuition/housing deposit and file for federal financial aid.

• Submit this completed scholarship application by Jan. 30, 2012

• Enclose two letters of recommendation that address your qualifications for this scholarship. 
One should be from a teacher and the other from a community leader.

• Meet the minimum academic requirements of a 3.75 GPA and a 26 ACT or 1170 SAT composite score.

• Provide documentation of leadership in school, church, and/or community activities.

• Participate in an on-campus interview process.
