Richard J. Doyle Leadership Scholarship Application

The Briar Cliff University Richard J. Doyle Scholarship program recognizes and rewards proven leadership.  Briar Cliff University invites students who have served in leadership roles to apply for the $1,000 Doyle Leadership Scholarship. The mission of the Leadership Program is to challenge students to identify, develop, and evaluate leadership skills through their educational experience at Briar Cliff University. This scholarship may be renewed annually upon successful completion of the Leadership Development Program providing up to $4,000 in scholarship funds in a four-year period.

In order to qualify, you must be involved in at least three major leadership roles in your school, church, community, and/or extracurricular activities during the past two years. Significant leadership experiences are those that contribute to the effectiveness of an organization or activity.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Complete an Application for Admission to the University and be accepted.

• Submit the tuition/housing deposit.

• Submit this completed Doyle Leadership Scholarship application by January 31, 2011.

• Meet the minimum academic requirements of a 3.0 GPA (on a 4.0 scale).

• Be actively involved in your school, church, community, and/or extracurricular activities.

• Provide documentation of at least three major leadership roles.
