Education Scholarship Application Form
Briar Cliff University is accepting applications from eligible individuals for scholarships to be awarded through a competitive process.
Possible scholarships to apply for:
WITCC GRADUATE ($10,000)
Must be a graduate of Western Iowa Tech Community
College (Associate of Arts, Associate of Applied
Science, Associate of Science) with a 2.5
cumulative G.P.A., and must participate in an interview on
Scholarship Day, June 18, 2011
Continuing Education ($1,000)

Eligibility Requirements:
1. Be accepted for admission to Briar Cliff University prior to June
6, 2011.
2. Apply for financial aid (FAFSA) prior to
June 6, 2011.
3. Provide two letters of recommendation attesting to academic potential.
The letters must be sent by the references directly to BCU’s Office of Admissions and be received
by
June 6, 2011.
4. Meet with advisor and register for fall term 2011 by June 17, 2011.
5. Be a first-time BCU student in fall 2011 and enroll full-time each term
for the extent of the scholarship.
6. Submit a completed Scholarship Application (below) to BCU’s Office of
Admissions by
June 6, 2011.
Please complete the following on separate sheets of paper, include your name
and mail to Briar Cliff as part of your scholarship application:
An essay that addresses the following topic: My life
experiences and how they have influenced my academic interests, my long term
goals and my desire to attend BCU (500 words, double spaced).
These scholarships are renewable for a second year. A cumulative G.P.A. of 2.0 is required for scholarship renewal.
