January 1

The earliest date a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) or Renewal FAFSA can be completed, signed and mailed to the Federal Processor, or completed via internet at www.fafsa.ed.gov (students should obtain a PIN # at www.pin.ed.gov) is January 1.

February 1
The Briar Cliff University Presidential Scholarship applications must be submitted for consideration. The Richard J. Doyle Leadership Program applications must be submitted for consideration.  These are awarded to first year students only.

March 1

Incoming students who have submitted their FAFSA's for 2009-2010 will begin receiving financial aid award letters.

March 15
BCU filing deadline for Free Application for Federal Student Aid and receiving the maximum financial aid benefit.  A completed FAFSA must be received by the federal processor to be considered for all federal and state financial aid programs.

July 1
A completed FAFSA must be received by the federal processor to be considered for the Iowa Tuition Grant (for Iowa Residents only).
