classes as you

degree at your
own pace.

Continuing and
Graduate
Studies. Drawing

strengths of the
University,
faculty in the
ADVANCE Program
upholds the

Our faculty is

their respective

brings a rich

practical and
theoretical
knowledge to the
classroom.
The ADVANCE
Program allows
you to complete
a degree at your
own pace with
flexible
scheduling and
affordable
tuition. Should
you find it
necessary to
reduce your
class load or
stop out, the
programs allows
a smooth,
immediate
resumption of
your personal
degree track. In
addition, a
competitive,
affordable
tuition rate
plus various
financial
assistance
options make the
ADVANCE Program
the most
practical degree
option
available.
Class
Schedule
ADVANCE classes
cover the same
material as day
classes, but
meet fewer times
per week or
term. Faculty
utilizes various
methods of
teaching more
conducive to
adult learning.

offers majors in the

Accounting, Business
Administration,
Elementary Education
K-6, Human Resource
Management, and RN-BSN.
Campus Locations
Programs are offered on
the campuses of Iowa
Lakes Community College
in Algona and
Estherville and
Northwest Iowa Community
College in Sheldon.
Dual Enrollment
Many of our students
take advantage of dual
enrollment at Briar
Cliff University and the
community college they
are housed on. The
option allows you the
benefit of dual advising
in planning your
schedule and ensuring
transferable credits and
a seamless educational
experience.
Enrolling in the
Extended Campus ADVANCE
Program is simple.
Complete and mail an
application form or
apply online at
www.briarcliff.edu.
Request that copies of
your official
transcripts from each
college or university
previously attended be
sent directly to us by
each institution. Your
transcripts are used to
determine transfer
credit and other
available options for
you.
Options for Financial
Assistance
Many students attending
Briar Cliff receive
financial assistance in
the form of grants and
loans. We encourage you
to file the Free
Application for Federal
Student Aid (FAFSA) and
explore the options for
financial assistance.
